Singlife Health Plus Private is the new ISP rider for Singlife Shield Plan 1, launched from 1 April 2026 in compliance with MOH’s new rider requirements. It covers co-insurance payable by you when hospitalised in a private hospital, with a co-payment cap of $6,000 per year.

Singlife Health Plus Private Product Details
- Supplementary rider for Singlife Shield Plan 1 (private hospital coverage)
- New from 1 April 2026, complies with MOH’s new ISP rider requirements
- Co-Insurance Coverage, 5% co-payment of eligible hospitalisation bills
- Annual Co-payment Cap, $6,000 per year (excludes minimum IP deductible)
- Minimum IP Deductible, $3,500 must be paid out of pocket (not covered by this rider)
- Cancer Drug Treatment, $10,000 per month for treatments on the Cancer Drug List
- Optional Add-on, Singlife Cancer Care Plus II for cancer treatments not on the CDL
- Care Collab Recovery Support Benefit, up to $20,000 over 2 years for home nursing care and rehabilitation services at no extra cost, available when holding both Singlife Health Plus and CareShield/ElderShield and qualifying for the Severe Disability Benefit
- Premium Savings, approximately 30% to 84% cheaper than old Health Plus Lite riders depending on age band
- Cash outlay only, rider premiums cannot be paid by MediSave

- Coverage for cancer treatments not on the Cancer Drug List without purchasing an additional Singlife Cancer Care Plus II rider
- Paying rider premiums using MediSave, rider premiums are cash outlay only
