Fund objective

BlackRock European Equity Income Fund seeks an above average income from its equity investments without sacrificing long-term capital growth. The Fund invests at least 70% of its total assets in equity securities of companies domiciled in, or exercising the predominant part of their economic activity in, Europe.

Investment Strategy

BlackRock European Equity Income Fund invests at least 70% of its total assets in equity securities of companies domiciled in, or exercising the predominant part of their economic activity in, Europe.  The Fund distributes income gross of expenses. Refer to “Investment Objective, Policy and Strategy” and “Use of Derivatives and Securities Lending” on pages 8 and 30 of the Singapore Prospectus for further information on investment strategy.

The Fund may use financial derivative instruments for efficient portfolio management or to hedge market, interest rate and currency risk.
